"Dress Rehearsal" -- a fashionable First Friday event. Featuring new works by Studio 6 artists Heather Green and Judith Geil, with guest artists Arti Goulatia and Nancy Cushwa. Additionally, the Melrose vintage boutique Hollywood Regency will model clothing, accessories, and jewelry. A great reason to dress up for a night on the town!!!

November 7th is First Friday! Please stop by the studio any time between 6 and 10 pm to check out the artwork! As always, this is a free, self-guided monthly artwalk. If you are a first-time participant, stop by the studio -- we have maps and can show you the best places to go! Also, if you haven't been to Gallery 623 & Studio 6 lately, we have 5 new artists in the building! The newest is oil painter and pastelist Laura Cohen-Hogan! Please check out her vibrant nudes on circular canvases and beautiful plein-aire landscapes of Hawaiian beaches on prominent display in one of the upstairs studios. Other new artists include photographers Brian and Michele Hinz, painter & printmaker Patt Thompson, and muralist Susanne Andersen!

Help us celebrate the arrival of 4 new artists in Studio 6! Come to First Friday (Oct. 3rd, 6-10 pm) to check out all the new work up on the walls! Also, resident artists from The Purple Lizard Boutique will join in on the fun.

Via Colori® Scottsdale is Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19, 2008 in The Art District. It is free to attend and opens at 10:00 AM on each day. On Saturday, it closes with a street party that runs until 10:00 PM. On Sunday, it closes at 5:00 PM. Studio 6 artists Donna & Susanne will be participating in this exciting event! www.viacolori.com

Studio 6 artists Heather Green, Donna Stenger, and Paulette Redmond will have booths set up at Sunnyslope's Second Saturday Art Walk! Over 100 artists will participate, as well as 6 live bands who will perform as you peruse! This event takes place Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 5 to 10 pm along the East side of Central Avenue in Phoenix from Dunlap to Ruth Rd.
